01 — The brief
ZINGA is a zero sugar soda built for the bold, the playful, and the always on-the-go. The brief was simple and ambitious: create a beverage brand with the swagger of a legacy soda, the energy of a streetwear drop, and a clear point of difference on a shelf already crowded with seltzers and sparkling waters. Big flavor. No sugar. All zing.
02 — The approach
We built ZINGA around a hero asset — a glossy, bubble-letter wordmark that pops in 3D off every can, t-shirt, billboard and bag. A bold core palette of Cherry Red, Electric Lime, Sky Blue and Warm White anchors the system, with each flavor (Cherry Bomb, Lime Drop, Mango Fizz, Watermelon Wave, Blue Burst) getting its own saturated colorway. Typography is loud and confident: a custom bubble display face for the logo, paired with a sturdy sans for body and a hand-brushed accent for taglines like FULL VIBE and GO OFF. The identity stretches across single cans, 4-packs, 12-pack shippers, OOH posters, subway takeovers, lifestyle photography, retail environments, e-commerce, and a full merch line — caps, tees, totes and shoppers — all unmistakably ZINGA.
03 — The outcome
ZINGA launched with a complete brand world: packaging across the full flavor range, a 12-can variety pack, OOH and subway campaign creative, lifestyle and product photography, a DTC website with rewards, and a merch capsule. The result is a soda brand that feels less like a beverage and more like a movement — instantly recognizable, endlessly remixable, and built to own the zero-sugar shelf.
