01The brief

Stuck Up Preserves makes small-batch jams, hot honey, pickles and seasonal preserves with a very high opinion of themselves — and honestly, fair enough. They needed a brand that was proper on the surface, warm underneath, and ridiculous on purpose: the jar people pick up because the label made them laugh, and keep buying because the product is actually incredible.

02The approach

We built the brand around a self-aware aristocrat tone — a butler who's seen things. A crown-and-jar motif anchors a full logo suite (primary, reversed, stacked secondary, submark, logomark, lettermark, and a circular badge) so the brand can show up consistently across labels, packaging, market signage and social. A rich palette of Deep Plum, Marmalade Orange, Honey Gold and Parchment carries the heritage-meets-cheeky feel, paired with a tall display serif for headlines and a humanist sans for body. The creative direction stitches it all together: wax seals, honeycomb, hand-drawn fruit and editorial product photography that makes every jar feel like a small luxury.

03The outcome

Stuck Up Preserves walked away with a complete brand system — strategy, voice, logo suite, color palette, typography, and creative direction — ready to deploy across jar labels, packaging, farmers market booths and digital. The brand is memorable, giftable, and unmistakably itself: aristocratic on the surface, hilarious underneath, and built to stand out on any shelf.
